The Metropolis Series: Part II, Scene IV

PART II
Scene IV: History lessons during hot summer classes
(Or a tribute to Gertrude Stein, definitely maybe)

I. Parehas lang ng Idem the Same

I will watch my watch. I watch my watch; I am watching my watch. I watched my watch, I have watched my watch - I watch my watch. Watch the watch that watches you, watching the watch which was a watch I watched and watched without a doubt, a watch.

II. More sounds now/with body parts

I wash my wrists
my wrists with my watch
which water might wet
so out with the watch
the watch, my watch
my watch might get wet
when I wash my wrists
I'll wash my watch
after I wash my wrists
or washed my wrists
when my wrists are washed
I'll wash the watch
I watched the watch
and watched my wrists
washed without the watch
I watch

III. And then it gets confusing

which wrist will I wash first?
which side will get
washed
the side without the watch at first
or the first to wear
the watch I'm watching
and will wash
will it matter which washed first?
did it matter who watched?
Watch me washing my wrists
washed and I watch
I'm watching the water
Wash it away
Wash away my wrists
the watch kept watch as
I
wash away
Watch.

Love and Eternity: II

II
The Deziremsem

Every time
Love so sublime
In all the times
(Time, sublime times)
Seen within my eyes
Stays within my heart
As I can't be apart
(Eyes, heart, apart)

My love close to bursting
     (Bursting)
All else seems to be nothing
     (Bursting nothing)
Nothing can stop this feeling
     (Bursting, nothing feeling)
A man ready to risk everything
     (Bursting nothing, feeling everything)
Yet for all his pains receives nothing
     (Bursting, nothing, feeling, everything, nothing)

Love and Eternity: I

I
Day/Night

Every day,

[The horizon glows in morning splendor
does the Sun tease slow with its golden locks?
The nebulous night turned vivid candor
lunar slumber pierced by golden-haired stalks.]

Every night
[That cools the embers of Western setting
crescent smiles sparkle with shining starlight!
That work and toil doused by slumber letting
slip silently in sleep of gentle night.]

Sadness takes flight
[A flutter, a gust of wind billows fast
As with your smile
(the muscles twitch and the mortals tremble)
Happiness alights
the softest feather drops gently at last.]
